Freedom

I'm a bit surprised how this turned out, and a bit creeped out on how freaky that last picture turned out XP 

This here's ma project 3 for design. The "inspiration" was to create a dragon but in reality he was open to any monstrous creature (seriously, majority of the people aren't even doing dragons) Well considering that I'm in the middle of creating a new villain, I decided it best for me to make a 3D model of her. How weird, the first character I actually make as a 3D character is one that I just created. Now keep in mind that with the sculpting requirements for this project it made me have to alter the character a bit. She's supposed to have swirls on her body and those weird feather things on her head and tail aren't supposed to be there but I had to make them. I am planning to make a colored pencil piece of it later on so you'll see this chick in my drawing style. 

This right here is Ligia (It's Brazilian so it's pronounced Le-hee-ah. The G sounds like an H) and all she wants to do is become a human. In my dragon universe in the Adytum de Draco, they live relatively peaceful lives. Reason being is because there's pretty strict rules in this society and because of those rules it makes Ligia want to get away from it. She wants to go to the Mortal world because she believes that there's more freedom there, or at least more freedom than she gets in the Adytum. There's only two ways she could get there. One is to get a Muneris partner and become a household pet to live there, or become a human herself. Considering that she's tried many times to bond with Muneris, she can's seem to bond with anyone. So her next resort is to become a human. 

How does she do that? Well you see that thing in her hand? The thing that looks like a piece of chalk? Or perhaps a piece of pastel? (Jodie's idea's at first ) Well that thing is actually a crystal. That crystal is her way to become human. She steals the powers of other dragons with and uses them for herself. It's happened before, clearly, I mean she's transforming into one here. She's gotten to the Mortal world a few times, but the effects are not permanent. So she has to contently keep stealing the power so she can have a few moments of freedom. At this point she's trying to find a way so she can transform into the different forms as much as she wants. This requires her to find and steal a shape shifting dragon power. It's a pretty rare one in my dragon universe so that's why she hasn't gotten to that point yet (but she got close in an RP with Chibi-redhead13) 

Other than that, here's my first real sculpture and pretty good for my first one if I do say so myself
